Library Project for May is Mental Health Month
This is an exciting year for our annual Library Project that will take place in May 2010. The Region II, Regional Mental Health Board coordinates this educational project with over 40 libraries in our area. Our volunteers from our Catchment Area Councils (CACs) create displays in their city or town library or libraries. We collect materials on mental health illnesses that affect so many people in our lives. The topics of materials range from Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, teen stress, Eating Disorders, mental health in later years, and medication awareness. There are materials in both Spanish and English. This year we asked consumers that belong to social groups associated with their mental health services
